Job Description

Salary: $110,000 - 150,000 per year Requirements:

• 2+ years of professional front-end, web, or mobile software development experience outside of internships, using JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
• 1+ years of experience with computer science fundamentals, including object-oriented design, data structures, algorithm design, problem solving, and complexity analysis
• Experience working with JavaScript frameworks such as Angular or React
• 1+ years of experience with agile software development methodologies
• Experience with common front-end technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, and Node.js
• Knowledge of agile practices and strong coding standards, including peer code reviews and unit testing

• We develop and maintain secure front-end interfaces for the Route 53 DNS management console using React and TypeScript
• We implement security controls for DNS configuration screens to reduce misconfigurations that could create vulnerabilities
• We build intuitive user experiences for managing DNS records, health checks, and traffic policies
• We partner with security architects to add protections against DNS threats such as cache poisoning and zone transfers
• We create responsive designs that preserve security integrity across device types
• We integrate front-end applications with Route 53 APIs using secure coding practices
• We apply robust input validation for DNS record creation and updates
• We take part in security reviews for Route 53 console features
• We troubleshoot and resolve front-end security issues related to DNS management
• We write automated tests to verify security controls in the Route 53 console
• We document security capabilities implemented in the Route 53 front end
• We stay current on DNS security threats and mitigation techniques
• We contribute to incident response for DNS-related security events
